Section 27(k) in Model Rules, 2011 under Bengal Ferries Act, 1885
(k)that in no circumstances animals will be allowed other passengers to ferry in boat .If any passengers has animals with him , only he will be allowed with animal in the boat besides Navik or Manjhi or Tindal.
