32. Constitution of a Selection Committee for appointment of officers and teachers of a Faculty.
(1)The Board shall appoint a Selection Committee for each Faculty which shall consist of the following persons namely: -(i)the Vice-Chancellor who shall be ex-officio Chairman of the Committee.(ii)the Dean of the Faculty concerned -(iii)One person outside the University having special knowledge of the subject of the Faculty, nominated by the Board.(2)The teachers of a Faculty shall be appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the Selection Committee of that Faculty and their remuneration and other conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed.
