Section 38A(1) in The Calcutta Suburban Police Act, 1866
(1)With the previous sanction of the State Government, the Commissioner of Police may, from time to time, by notification in the Official Gazette, prescribed the types of vehicles which shall not be driven or used in streets or public places within such limits as may be specified in this behalf by the Commissioner of Police in the said notification.
