Section 326(f) in The Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(f)bury or caused to be buried any corpse or part of a corpse in a grace or vault or otherwise in such manner as that the surface of the coffin, or, when no coffin is used, of the corpse or part of a corpse shall be at a less depth than six feet from the surface of the ground;
