28.
No person shall be eligible to stand as a candidate for the office of Sarpanch unless his name finds place in the electoral roll of the Grama. No person shall similarly be eligible to be either the proposer or seconder of a candidate for the office of Sarpanch unless his name finds place in the electoral roll of the Grama.
