Section 284 in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
284. Stoppage of work endangering human life.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in any of the preceding sections, the Commissioner may, at any time, stop the construction or reconstruction or any building if in his opinion the work in progress contravenes any of the rules, regulations or by-laws framed under this Act, or endangers human life.
