Present contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 07.1.2025 (Annexure P P-1) passed by a co-

ordinate ate Bench of this Court in CWP-11775 CWP 11775-2004 titled as "Punjab State Electricity Board vs. Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Bathinda and another", another , whereby it was observed as under ::-

"8. Keeping in view the fact that the award has already been executed except back wages, the award of the Labour Court dated 07.04.2004 (Annexure P-3)
3) is modified that the re respondent-

employee will be reinstated but without there being any back wages.

9. Learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that as respondent No.2 has already retired and his pensionary benefits have not been 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 19-02-2026 22:01:08 ::: COCP-3486-2025 (O & M) 2 released hence, the petitioner petitioner-authorities be directed that in case, the pensionary benefits have not been released to the respondent No.2, the same be released keeping in view the entitlement of respondent No.2 within a period of two months of the receipt of the copy of this order order...."

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present contempt petition with liberty to file execution petition.

Permitted to do so.

Dismissed as withdrawn.

Rule stands discharged.
