18. Effect of other laws.
(1)No provision of the Electricity Act, the Electricity Supply Act or any other Act for the time being in force and of any rule made under any of these Acts or of any instrument including licence having effect, by virtue of any of these Acts or any rule made thereunder, shall, in so far as it is inconsistent with any of the provisions of this Act, have any effect.(2)Save as otherwise provided in this Act, the provisions of this act shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the Electricity Act and the Electricity Supply Act.
