This is an application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India at the instance of the one of the party to the suit seeking a direction for early disposal of the matter.

Considering the length of the pendency of the matter and the stage at which such matter has reached, this Court feels that the Trial Court should make endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.

This Court, therefore, requests the Trial Court to see that the main matter is disposed of within six months from the date of the communication of this order and shall make further efforts to dispose of all the interlocutory applications, if any, pending therein, to be disposed of promptly in order to adhere the time limit indicated hereinbefore, provided there is no fetter on the part of the Court in proceeding therewith.
