24Q.
Suspension or cancellation of license under Sub-section (1) of Section 6-B.(1)If the Government, on receipt of a report from the Director or otherwise, is satisfied that a licensee is prima facie in breach of any of the material provisions of the Act or these rules or any of the conditions, subject to which the license has been granted or renewed, it may issue a notice to the defaulting licensee asking him to show cause within 15 days from the date of receipt of the notice, as to why the license granted to him or renewed in his name, shall not be suspended or cancelled.(2)After considering the response and giving the licensee an opportunity of being heard, the Government may suspend or cancel the license or,if satisfied that there is no substance in the alleged violations, may drop the proceeding.
