                              ORDER

1. The application is filed alleging that the 3rd Respondent which is a Karumathampatti Municipality is dumping the garbage in close proximity to the Noyyal River and also constructing the Micro Composting Centre.

2. After notice, Mr. T. Kothandaraman, the learned counsel entered appearance on behalf of the 3rd Respondent and sought time for filing the counter.

3. In the meanwhile, the learned counsel appearing for the applicant produced the newspaper report as well as communication from the Assistant Engineer - Irrigation Department, Noyyal River addressed to the Commissioner - Karumathampatti Municipality dated 03.07.2023, based on the representation made by the applicant herein, wherein the Municipality was directed not to put up any Micro Composting Centre or Electric Crematorium and also advised them not to put up any kind of permanent structures either on the banks of the Noyyal River or any other water body.

4. As the Irrigation Department itself has given a direction to the 3rd Respondent not to put up any construction, we confirm the same and the 3rd Respondent is hereby injuncted from putting up any construction, be it a Micro Composting Centre or garbage dump yard or electric crematorium, etc. until further orders.

5. Let all the respondents file their respective counter in this regard.

6. Post the matter on 07.08.2023.
