1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Advocate and Mr. Shiv P. Shukla, learned counsel for the respondent who files his vakalatnama on behalf of the respondent and perused the record.

2. The petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeks quashing of entire proceedings of summoning order dated 04.04.2017 under Section 3/4 Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 issued by Special Judge (PMLA)/ Sessions Judge, Lucknow in Complaint Case No.8 of 2017.

3. After hearing the submissions and perusing the record, I find no ground to interfere with the ongoing proceedings. The petition is, therefore, dismissed.

4. However, it is directed that in case the petitioner appears/surrenders before the court below within 21 days from today and applies for bail, the same shall be considered and decided in view of the settled law laid down by this Court in Amrawati and another Vs. State of U.P. reported in 2004 (57) ALR 290 as well as by the Supreme Court in Lal Kamlendra Pratap Singh Vs. State of U.P., 2009 (3) ADJ 322 (SC).

Till the aforesaid period of 21 days, no coercive step shall be taken against the petitioner.
