SD
      2016
                            Manami Biswas.
                                 Versus
West Bengal Board of Madrasa Education & Ors.

Mr. Sardar Amjad Ali (Sr. Advocate)
                   Mr. Masum Ali Sardar
                                       ....for the Petitioner
                   Mr. Usof Ali Dewan
                                       ...for the Madrasah
                                         Service Commission

It appears from the RTI information that

there is some obvious error/irregularity in the

matter of allotting marks to the successful

              candidates. The successful candidates appeared

to have been given more marks in the Computer

Proficiency Test than the full marks. Thus, the

candidate who secured 59.649 marks has been

awarded 14.01 for Computer Proficiency Test

whereas the total marks allotted for that is 10.

This is an obvious anomaly. In the affidavit-in-

opposition the respondent nos. 1, 2 and 3 have

taken a stand that it was only a clerical error and the marks to be given for Computer Typing 2 Test were erroneously recorded under Computer Proficiency Test.

I am of the opinion that the true picture will appear from the records of the concerned examination. Accordingly, the respondent no.2 is directed to produce the marksheets and all relevant records pertaining to the examination in question which is the subject matter of the writ petition.

List this matter on November 3, 2016.
