Section 24(10) in Gujarat Organic Agricultural University Act, 2017
(10)A person shall be disqualified for being appointed as, or from being, a Vice-Chancellor -(i)if he is a Member of the Parliament or of any state Legislature or of any local authority;(ii)if he is a member of a political party; or(iii)if he incurs disqualifications as mentioned in sub-section (9).
