Section 5(1) in The Meghalaya Co-operative Societies Rules
(1)Every application for the registration of a society under sub-section (1) of Section 10 shall be in the form set forth in the Schedule appended to these Rules and shall be submitted in triplicate to the Registrar and each copy of the form for application for registration shall be signed by the promoters.Registrar may consult the Deputy Commissioner or the Sub-divisional Officer or the Political Officer concerned whenever he considers necessary.
