Section 40(1) in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Councils Act, 1997
(1)All Government employees in the District except the judicial employees and police personnel shall be deemed to be the transferred employees on such terms and conditions, to be notified by the Government from time to time :Provided that the terms and conditions of service of an employee of the Government transferred to the Council shall not be varied to his disadvantage.
