Section 19 in Cigarettes (Regulation of Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 1975
19. Offences to be cognizable and bailable.
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, an offence punishable under this Act shall be bailable.(2)For the avoidance of doubts, it is hereby declared that every offence punishable under this Act shall be cognizable.
