Section 265(1) in The Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act, 1990
(1)If the State Government is at any time of opinion that any regulation or by-law made by the Corporation should be cancelled or modified either wholly or in part, it shall cause the reasons for such opinion to be communicated to the Corporation, and shall specify a period within which the Corporation may make any representation with regard thereto.
