Section 54(2) in The National Security Guard Act, 1986
(2)An officer of the rank of a Group Commander may, in the prescribed manner, proceed against a person of the rank of an Assistant Commander who is charged with an offence under this Act and award any one or both of the following punishments, that is to say,—(a)severe reprimand or reprimand;(b)deduction from pay and allowances of any sum required to make good any proved loss or damage occasioned by the offence of which he is convicted.
