Section 50(ii) in University of Udaipur Officers (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1976
(ii)Where an officer does not resume duty after remaining on leave for a continuous period of five years or where, after the expiry of his leave remains absent from duty otherwise than on foreign service, for any period which together with the period of leave granted to him exceeding five years, he shall, unless the Committee in view of exceptional circumstances of the case otherwise determines, be deemed to have resigned and shall accordingly cease to be in University service.
