4. Appeal from orders of village authorities.
- An appeal lies from all orders of laskars, sardars, nokmas, gaonburas and other village authorities in police matters to the Deputy Commissioner whose orders are final. But the Government may call for the proceedings of any officer subordinate to him and modify or reverse any order should be think fit.
