Section 69(3) in Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003
(3)No election is necessary, if the total number of validly nominated candidates is equal to or less than the number of vacancies and all of them shall be declared elected as members of the Managing Committee. Election shall be conducted, if the number of validly nominated candidates exceeds the number of vacancies.
