Section 29 in The Orissa Panchayat Samiti Election Rules, 1991
29. Polling Officer to act as the Presiding Officer.
- When the Presiding Officer is unable to remain at the polling station temporarily for reasons beyond his control he shall authorise one of the Polling Officers to act as the Presiding Officer.
