31. Conditions of service of employees and settlement of disputes.
(1)Every employee shall be appointed under a written contract which shall be lodged with the Registrar and a copy of which shall be furnished to the employee concerned.(2)Any dispute arising out of a contract between the University and any employee may be referred by the Vice-Chancellor to a grievances committee consisting of [such persons not being members] [Substituted for the words 'such members' by Act No.17 of 1985.] of the [Executive Council] [Substituted 'Executive Council' by Act No. 13 of 1995.] as may be nominated by the [Executive Council] [Substituted 'Executive Council' by Act No. 13 of 1995.].
