(1)Subject to the approval of the [State Government] [Words substituted by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937 and the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.], the Commissioners may authorise any person to construct, maintain and use a tramway or tramways over the new bridge and its approaches on such terms as the Commissioners may consider suitable.
