6. Conferment of power of arrest, investigation, etc.
Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code ,the Central Government may ,for the purposes of this Act , by notification , confer the powers of arrest , investigation and prosecution of any person exercisable by a police officer under the Code on any of its officer or such officer of a State Government.
