Section 2(2)(a) in The M.P. Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1977

(a)Those allocated Government servants, permanent or temporary, who have opted to retain the leave rules applicable to them immediately before 1st November, 1956, may elect to continue to be governed by those rules, if they wish to retain the same or may come over to these rules.
