Section 289(1) in Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Corporation Act, 2000
(1)Where any building or part of a building is intended to be let in which any person has, within six weeks immediately preceding been suffering from a dangerous diseases, the person letting the building or part shall, before doing so disinfection the same in such manner as the Commissioner may be general or special notice direct together with al articles therein liable to retain infection.
