The uniform and equipment of Home Guards shall be such as may be laid down in the Standing Order.Uniform and equipment may be worn on duty only. These remain Government property; they will be renewed when worn out through fair wear and tear, and will be returned when the guard quits the service. The cost of any article found deficient or damaged or worn out through unfair use shall be recovered from the guard concerned.
