Section 7(2) in The Gujarat Prevention of Fragmentation and Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1947
(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in [any law for the time being in force or in any instrument or agreement] [These words were substituted for the words and figures 'the Bombay Tenancy Act, 1939', by Bombay 61 of 1958, Section 3 (6).], no such fragment shall be leased to any person other than a person cultivating any land which is contiguous to the fragment.
