Section 176(c) in The Coal Mines Regulations, 2011
(c)The competent person so appointed shall make a thorough search for the articles referred to in clause (a) and in particular shall -(i)search or tum out all pockets;(ii)pass his hand over all clothing; and(iii)examine any article in the possession of the person searched.
