Section 401(1)(b) in The Punjab Municipal Act, 1999

(b)execute any of the works specified in sub-clause (b) of clause (1) of section 398, in any municipal area shall, apply for sanction by giving notice in writing of his intention to the Chief Officer of the Municipality in such form and containing such information, as may be prescribed.
