Section 201 in The Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961
201. Power of inspections of weights and measures etc.
- The President, Vice-President or any Councillor or officer authorised by the Zilla Parishad in this behalf may at all reasonable times enter into any place (other than a place prescribed by rules made under the Bombay Weights and Measures Act, 1932), or under any law corresponding thereto in force in any part of the State where weights or measures or weighing or measuring instruments are used or kept for the purpose of trade, and inspect such weights or measures or weighing or measuring instruments.
