Section 4(3)(a) in Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Rules, 2020

(a)proceed to record and register a First Information Report as per the provisions of section154 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), and furnish a copy thereof free of cost to the person making such report, as per sub-section (2) of section154 of that Code;
