Section 40(4) in Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University Act, 2016
(4)The qualifications and selection criteria for appointment of teachers in the University, and promotions under Career Advancement Scheme or similar schemes, shall be as specified in the Regulations issued from time to time by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and / or such other appropriate regulatory bodies in the country and as the University may declare by an Ordinance.
