24A. [ Transitory provision on the change of name of U. P. Act No. 45 of 1976. [Inserted by U.P. Act 28 of 1998, Section 5 (w.e.f. 1.12.1998).]
- On and from the commencement of the Uttar Pradesh Protection of Trees in Rural and Hill Areas (Amendment) Act, 1998, any reference to the Uttar Pradesh Protection of Trees in Rural and Hill Areas Act, 1976 in any law or statutory instrument shall be construed as a reference to the Uttar Pradesh Protection of Trees Act, 1976.]
