ORDER
1. Learned counsel appearing for MoEF & CC has submitted that the requisite information sought by Integrated Regional Office, MoEF & CC was not furnished by the concerned Executive Engineer, PWD, Almora and the State Forest Department has not submitted the compliance report in terms of decision taken in the meeting held on 05.12.2023.
2. Mr. Deepak Kumar, D.F.O, Almora and Mr. Vibhaor Gupta Ex. Eng. PWD, Almora have appeared before this Tribunal through VC and they O.A. No. 614/2022 Rasesh B Vissanji and Ors Vs. State of Uttarakhand & Ors -2- have assured to take requisite steps for compliance with the decisions taken in the meeting held on 05.12.2023.
3. We direct that a meeting be held again on 15.06.2024 in the office of Regional Officer, Integrated Regional Office MoEF&CC, Dehradun under the Chairmanship of Regional Officer which shall be attended personally by concerned Additional PPCF-Nodal Officer, Government of Uttarakhand for diversion of forest land for non-forest purposes under the Forest Conservation Act, 1980, DFO, Almora, Executive Engineer, PWD, Almora, officers dully authorized by PCCF (HoFF), Government of Uttarakhand and District Magistrate, Almora for appropriate resolution of the matter of grant of requisite approvals.
4. Status Report in this regard be filed before this Tribunal within two months at [email protected] preferably in the form of searchable PDF/OCR Supported PDF and not in the form of Image PDF.
5. List for further consideration on 12.08.2024.
6. A copy of this order be sent to Regional Officer, Integrated Regional Office, MoEF&CC, Chief Secretary, Government of Uttarakhand, PCCF (HoFF), Government of Uttarakhand, Chief Engineer, PWD, Uttarakhand, DFO, Almora, Executive Engineer, PWD, Almora and District Magistrate, Almora for requisite compliance.
