49. Withdrawal of town planning scheme.
- If at any time before the preliminary town planning scheme is forwarded by the Valuation,Officer to the State Government, a representation is made to the Valuation Officer by the Authority that the scheme should be withdrawn, the Valuation Officer shall after inviting from all persons interested in the scheme objections to such representation, forward such representation together with the objections, if any, to the State Government.(2)The State Government, after making such inquiry as it may, deem fit, may, if it is of opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, by notification, direct that the town planning scheme shall be withdrawn and upon such withdrawal, no further proceedings shall be taken in regard to such town planning scheme.
