Section 18 in THE THUNCHATH EZHUTHACHAN MALAYALAM UNIVERSITY ACT, 2013
18. Research Council- (1) The University shall have a Research Council which shall
be responsible for deciding on the research programmes and policy of the University underthe various disciplines and shall consider and approve with or without modifications theresearch proposals leading to the award of Ph.D or applied Research Projects in order tomake them meaningful.(2)Apart from considering and approving the research proposals presented beforeit, the Research Council may also suggest and advice to take up research on specific areas.
