147. Provision of latrines for labourers.
- Every person employing workmen, labourers or other persons exceeding ten in number, shall provide and maintain for the separate use of persons of each sex so employed latrines of such description and number and in such position as the [executive authority] [These words were substituted for the word 'chairman' by section 17(1) of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1933 (Tamil Nadu Act XV of 1933)] may, by notice require, within such time as may be fixed in the notice.
