- Any Revenue Officer who is authorized by an order of the government may exercise his powers under this Act at any place within the local limits of his jurisdiction.Provided that a Sub-Divisional Officer or Settlement Officer or Assistant Settlement Officer may inquire into or hear any case only at the headquarters to which he is appointed.
