Section 171(3) in Selected Statutes (Statutes framed under the Bombay University Act, 1914)
(3)In case, a student is contesting the election from more than one College on the Students' Council, he shall inform the Principal, Head of the College/Institution/Department concerned and in the case of election of only such students, at the time of counting, a note shall be kept of the first three candidates in order of preference.
