Section 22(1) in Tamil Nadu Village Panchayats (Receipts and Expenditure and Maintenance of the Accounts of Village Panchayats) Rules, 2000
(1)Each village panchayat shall receive a devolution grant based on the recommendation of the State Finance Commission based on the norms fixed by the Government, from time to time. This grant shall be credited to village panchayat fund.
