Section 6(b) in The Assam Secondary Education (Provincialisation) (Service and Conduct) Rules, 1979
(b)Assistant Teachers of Lower School Service (Provincialised) shall be selected District-wise by a Selection Board meant for the purpose of such selection for Government Schools.
