(8)[ Where the manufacturing process in any establishment has been entrusted to a contractor, the registers to be maintained under sub-rules (1),(3), (4) and (5) may be entrusted to the contractor and every such register maintained by the contractor shall be deemed to have been maintained by the principal employer.] [Added by S.O. 321, dated 27-2-1982.]
