Section 30(2) in The Oil And Natural Gas Commission Act, 1959
(2)On and from the said date-(a)all assets, liabilities and obligations acquired or incurred by the Commission for purposes of the Commission or for any of the purposes referred to in this Act shall vest in the Central Government, and(b)all members shall vacate their offices as members of the Commission.
