Section 10(1) in National Capital Territory of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Chandigarh (Police Service) Rules, 2018
(1)Every officer on appointment to the Entry Grade of the Service either by direct recruitment or by promotion shall be on probation for a period of two years:Provided that the Controlling Authority may extend the period of probation in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government from time to time in this behalf.
