(2)The Land Records Officer may issue a proclamation directing all estate holders and tenants of the area under survey and record operations to correct within fifteen days such boundary marks as he may think necessary to define the limits of their villages, estates or fields, and in default of their compliance within the time specified in the proclamation, he may himself cause such boundary marks to be erected at their cost.
