(2)The sitting members of the Legislative Council representing the Madras South (Graduates)constituency and the Madras South (Teachers) constituency shall, as from the appointed day, be deemed to have been elected to the Legislative Council of Madras by the Madras (Graduates)constituency and the Madras (Teachers) constituency, respectively.The terms of office of those sitting members who do not cease to be embers of the Legislative Council on the appointed day shall be determined in accordance with the provisions contained in the Fort Schedule.
