Petitioners are girl students, who are to be appear in High School and Intermediate Examination, proposed to be held from 18.2.2020. Their grievance is that the authorities have allocated centre to them at far of areas contrary to the Government Order dated 16.10.2019. Submission is that authorities cannot be permitted to act contrary to the Government Order in the matter of allocation of centre for the board examinations.
Petition is opposed by learned Standing Counsel.
Admittedly the details of centres were uploaded online on 30th November, 2019. The examinations are now scheduled to begin from Tuesday and hardly one working day remains. The authorities of the Board would have to make necessary arrangements for holding examinations. At this fag end when the examinations are due to commence shortly, this Court would not be inclined to entertain any challenge to the allocation of centre.
Writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed.
